About Us
Founders Ramona Reid and Yvonne Constancio connected in 2013 through a shared desire to create a healing center focused on alternative and complimentary therapies.
Forming Nashville Center for Alternative Therapy (or NCAT) in 2014, the two partners in life and business, brought a model of integrative holistic health to Nashville, combining Yvonne’s acupuncture and Chinese Medicine background with Ramona’s massage and Reiki practice and adding in mental health support and counseling, nutrition, movement, EFT/Tapping, energy work modalities, chiropractic care, functional medicine, mindfulness & meditation and more.
Several years in it became apparent that diversity and inclusion were not being realized and a seed was planted to extend their energies more proactively in providing accessible healing for all.
Mind-body-spirit medicine, transformational work, and energy/vibrational healing therapy methods are effective and crucial adjuncts to conventional medicine and need to be accessible to all.
This desire for a more connected spiritual practice started to be mirrored in their peer group and a broad range of support started to build for creating a non-profit sanctuary for Intentional Healing Meditation, Reiki and Sound Healing to be accessible to all member of their communities.
Feeling a pull to the Southwest, Ramona’s home, the two acquired land in Abiquiu, New Mexico to create the first of these sanctuaries.

Jennifer Wilson
TREASURER OF BOARD
Jennifer Wilson is a Real Estate Broker based in Albuquerque, NM, and the Registered Agent for The Frequency Center, serving as Treasurer of the Board since its inception in 2021. Originally from Houston, TX, she has called New Mexico home since 1991. Recognized in the top 1.5% of Realtors in the U.S., she values healing practices as a way to create balance between a demanding career and overall health and well-being. She brings many years of entrepreneurial experience to our table and has been an invaluable friend, ally, and catalyst in realizing the dream of expanding The Frequency Center west.

Kristin Mejia
BOARD MEMBER
Kristin Mejia is a trailblazing figure in the field of reproductive justice, dedicated to creating positive change for Black families in middle Tennessee. As the founder and CEO of Homeland Heart Birth and Wellness Collective, a non-profit organization, Kristin has devoted over five years to addressing and combating maternal and infant mortality rates within marginalized communities. Through her work, she has been instrumental in developing strategies that prioritize the well-being of Black families, ultimately contributing to a reduction in mortality rates in the region.

Laura Franke
BOARD MEMBER
Laura Franke is an intuition coach with 10+ years in the personal development space. She is a Certified Professional Co-Active Coach (CPCC) through Coaches Training Institute (CTI) and is a professional certified coach through the International Coaching Federation (ICF). Laura is also a certified facilitator with Brene Brown’s The Daring Way and Dare to Lead. She is also certified in Eidetic Imagery and has been personally supervised by Eidetics master Jaqueline Sussman

Marisa Swystun
BOARD MEMBER
As Vice President, Social Sector Specialist for AllianceBernstein, Marisa Swystun brings 20+ years of experience to clients’ investment strategies. Her career began with an arts and education focused family foundation in Detroit and The Art Institute of Chicago. She then established a maternity clinic in West Africa and later served as the Chief Development Officer for Nashville’s Center for Nonprofit Management.
